Information and records software planning and procurement
Recordkeeping Innovation conducted a feasibility study for a whole of government approach to digital recordkeeping for the ACT Public Service. Extensive stakeholder consultation was undertaken to develop a solid understanding of the current digital records landscape within a very diverse government environment, the technology and ICT architecture issues and extensive analysis of corporate, ICT and recordkeeping plans, directions and strategies. Our records management consultants delivered a report on the current digital landscape, issues and preliminary recommendations to support a procurement business case.
The project delivered the following products:
- A governance and deployment model for digital recordkeeping across the ACT government.
- Development of a set of capabilities, in addition to the traditional functional EDRMS requirements, designed to support the strategic drivers for improved information, records, data and content management with the ACT Government.
- A business case to seek approval for funds to implement digital recordkeeping.
