EDRMS software configuration supporting digital recordkeeping
Blacktown Council implemented its eDRMS, HP TRIM in 2013. The Council aims to work digitally and initiated a project for digitising Council records. User acceptance was initially low, due to user interface issues. Staff did not understand the classification scheme or could not find the appropriate classifications.
Recordkeeping Innovation records consultants facilitated staff workshops, consulting teams across all divisions of council. Based on the user requirements collected, we updated missing classifications, conducted a well received user awareness program and documentation to support uptake of the revised system.
