Agency for Clinical Innovation (ACI) is the lead NSW government agency bringing patients, clinicians and managers together to support the design and implementation of innovation in healthcare.
Recordkeeping Innovation has a long relationship with ACI providing records management advice and services. In 2013 we provided the proposed information structure and configuration for the electronic document and records management software (EDRMS) reflecting ACI’s need to manage multiple projects. Software configuration improvements were made to enhance the EDRMS user facing design and improve user acceptance.
This project involved developing an information structure to reflect how ACI staff worked, and building business rules into the design. We delivered a change management strategy, including training on the revised software.
In 2017 Recordkeeping Innovation conducted a health check on the EDRMS and records management program. The health check looked at further improvements, while also devising a ‘future state’ information framework to support the more collaborative environment the Agency was moving towards.
