Records compliance and strategic information planning
Recordkeeping Innovation completed a records compliance audit to measure performance against State government standards, then developed information management strategic plans, classification schemes and disposal authorities (DA) for merged business units that were previously separate agencies: Land and Property Information; the Soil Conservation Service; the Emergency Information Co-ordination Unit; the Office of Rural Affairs and the Crown Lands Office.
Following broad consultation with staff in various locations across NSW, we created records disposal schedules and assisted LPI in successfully negotiating their authorisation through the regulatory approval process.
