Course Outcomes

By the end of this course participants should be able to:

  • Describe best practice for the storage of State records.
  • Understand the concepts of appraisal and disposal under the State Records Act, 1998.

This course is suitable for people who are new to records management in the NSW public sector, including staff of records management units and people assigned responsibility for records management. It is suitable for use as a part of an induction program.
